ABOUT
Coffee Outside Philadelphia is part of a growing movement for people who commute by bicycle, train, or even car to get a slower start to the morning.

Instead of rushing to the closest Starbucks to wait in line, start the week off right by meeting up for a cup of coffee (and a baked treat or two!) made by hand in a nice, central location.

We only ask that attendees treat everyone with courtesy and provide a safe and welcoming community for all, and bring your own mug!
FAQ
-
Is Coffee Outside only for cyclists? No! Anyone can show up and enjoy coffee outside as long as they treat everyone with courtesy and contribute to a safe and welcoming community.
-
What should I bring? The minimum requirements are a good attitude and a mug, but we also recommend bringing either coffee, a brew kit, or a snack to share! A good brew kit consists of a stove, mug, kettle, filter, grinder, and beans. We recommend getting a feel for what others use before buying your own kit.
-
Is this a ride?Coffee Outside isn't a ride, but it can be! We try to pick a variety of locations in Philadelphia and the near suburbs to ensure everyone has access to the meetup location, but if you want to create a loop that intersects with the meetup location, please let us know!
-
It's raining/cold/windy: will there be coffee outside? We will officially cancel coffee outside at 7AM if there is a high wind advisory, rain, or snow on the ground. Anyone is free to have coffee outside whenever they like, regardless of the conditions!
